Jill Freeman
Jill has spent 20+ years on benefit teams for large self-funded employers. Her experience gave her first-hand insight into the value of effective and engaging benefits communication on the overall employee experience. She’s repurposed her background to support creative strategy and content development for Fortune 500 employers, point solution programs, and nonprofits focused on benefits education.
As a native Midwesterner who grew up in Chicagoland, she struggles to find good pizza in her adopted town of Portland, OR. Despite repeated heartbreak, she still loves the Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks, making room in her sports-loving heart for the Portland Timbers. She has a bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University and a master’s from Indiana Wesleyan. Her creative muse is a 14-year-old Shih Tzu, Little Joe, who consults on all projects for high-end treats and belly rubs.
